XPS 15 Graphics card Nvidia GeForce 1050 cant access control

OK - no too impressed received my nice new shiny XPS15 only 2 days ago & spent 2 days trying to get access to NVIDIA control panel. The computer sees it in Device Manager & I have a little green icon in settings but if I click on this nothing happens :-( Have deleted & updated drivers several times, done BIOS updates etc. but still no joy. Has anyone else had this problem... can't believe I have spent so much on a laptop & it has these problems... Any help really appreciated. I have submitted a request through DELL support but just keep getting told to update drivers, bios, chipsets...

Thks,  John

Hi Cruzlite,

Many thanks for that and the link. OK I went direct to GeForce drive page & downloaded 399.24 driver for Win 10 Pro and have tried to install & I get an error saying it is not compatible with my version of windows.. which is weird? so still stuck & don't know what to do.  I'm running latest version of 10 pro 10.0.17134

Thanks again for help - John

can only speculate...but my guess is...

your 9570 came loaded with pro...popssibly a 'core' version...

pick up a 'retail' version...[usb]…

do a 'clean' install... change the key [in settings]…

attempt install of nvidia v399.24...

that is what I did, [but my 9570 came with home]…

???
