XPS 7590 cant change internal Realtek microphone sample rate

So i do music production and need everything on my computer to run at 48KHz 24bit and not 16 bit.

I can do and change that easily on the output playback Realtek device, however for the microphone - i cant change that, as you can see its grayed out - and stuck at 16 bit.

how do i go about fixing this?
the realtek seem to just be an internal driver and not a whole app suite that has an interface as far as i know, so it should be the only place to change that, however it doesnt work
