All the sudden my XPS 9360 starts with a massively flickering screen. After a few seconds of that it blanks.
Here's what it does: https://youtu.be/MMskISNatxw
It looks like a hardware failure to me.
It is unfortunately out of warranty, but only 2 years old, it would be a shame to throw it.
What I'm not sure about is whether it's worth trying to repair it. Any idea?
Hi cornuz,
Run diagnostic to check if it detects hardware faults. To run diagnostics, restart the computer, as the computer boots, start tapping < F12 > When the Boot menu appears, highlight the Diagnostics option and then press < Enter > to start the Diagnostics. If you get any error PM us.
You can also update the video drivers and BIOS to check if that helps link https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/xps-13-9360-laptop/drivers
