XPS 9575 2-in-1 Battery (new 4 month old) suddenly empty
I bought an used XPS 9575 (still under Dell support until July 2022).
I´m told the battery was renewed in October 2021.
I freshly installed WIn10 and Win11 from Microsoft Media.
Now I´m facing the problem that the battery suddenly runs empty: I shut down Windows at e.g. 70% battery level and after reboot the notebook shows only 4% or 2% remaining battery.
I found this article which may help: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/de-de/000146598/xps-9575-battery-drains-too-fast-or-displays-an-inconsistent-runtime?lang=en but sadly no info is given within this article which is the correct version of graphics driver to download and no direct link to the driver download. I tried SupportAssist, but the graphics driver loaded and installed by it don´t cure my problem.

Extended support does not cover the battery, but if your purchase included a warranty on the system, contact the seller for a battery replacement.

I don't think that driver has anything to do with your battery issue..!
For how long have you had this laptop?
Just to be sure: it only takes a reboot to see your battery going from 70% to 4%? A simple restart?
What ejn63 said is exactly what you should do, a battery shouldn't die after only 4 months, you should ask the seller to contact Dell or whoever he bought the battery from and seek a replacement.

Bought a new battery from DELL and this works. So it was an issue with the battery. With DELL support I found that the seller of the Laptop doesn´t tell the truth while he had adverted "battery replacement was done in October": There was still the original battery from the factory in the Laptop. However, the seller refunded my the half price for the new battery, so this is OK for me.
