XPS laptop not charging

Hi - my laptop has suddenly stopped charging and now wont power on.

The charging cable is lit up, and the front light (under the touchpad) lights up briefly when first plugged in. But wont turn on.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix?

Before taking your Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 back to the store, there are some simple things you can do to check and possibly, fix the issue yourself. While it does involve you doing a little investigation, it does mean you won’t have to live without your XPS while it gets fixed.

1. Check the AC adapter and cable for damage.
2. Make sure the power light is on when the adapter is plugged in.
3. Make sure all connections are tight.
4. Unplug everything and then plug it in again to verify the connection.

If the power light comes on as normal but it does not charge, you can check the Dell website for AC charger issues from the below link
