The RHS of my screen is inactive, unresponsive to touch or mouse pointer. It appears to be inactive in a vertical band with width about 4" extending from the RHS.
I am up to date with all my XPS13 Windows 10 drivers, but still have this problem.
Does anyone have any ideas?!

Try running the "Custom Component Test" on the "Touch Screen"
Post the results.
