XPS15 9560 does not detect dell 130w usb-c adatpter correctly

The charging circuit o the mainbaord for the barrel ac-adapter broke and I can only use usb-c chargers.But the dell 130w usb-c adapter only gets recognized as a generic 90w power adapter.

While the dell docking station connected with usb-c gets recognized as 130w power supply correctly. So I assume this is not a hardware limitation but the official dell usb-c power supply is missing from some hardcoded firmware whitelist.

Is there any chance to make the power supply work properly? Or is there any contact at dell who could add dells ubs-c power supplies to the bios white list?
