XPS15 9560 not turning on, common problem?
I bought the XPS 15 9560 almost a year ago. Today it suddenly shut off and it won't turn back on.
There are no more lights whatsoever on the laptop, but the charging cable lights is fine.
A Dell technician is coming by next week to fix the motherboard (diagnosed remotely). After some googling, this does not seem to be an uncommon problem with the laptop, which does worry me. It is making me question the reliability of this laptop, despite it being a premium tier.
I have 40 days before the warranty is up, should I purchase extended warranty?

Hi, just wondering if you resolved this problem with your XPS 9560?
I have the same problem of my XPS 9560 not turning on at all, despite disconnecting the battery and holding the power up button for 30 seconds.
It was working fine, then i didn't use it for over a year, and when i recently tried to start it up...nothing.
Mine is unfortunately out of warranty and after paying over £1500.00 for it and not using it much at all, Im hoping i can fix it without too much outlay.
Be interested to know how you got on?
