I'm using a Dell XPS 9550 in combination with a D3100 Dock to get LAN access.
Since upgrading from Windows 10 1709 to 1803 I am not able to use my LAN connection anymore.
I tried several things like:
- reinstalling Dell driver for the dock
- installing the latest DisplayLink driver with deactivated AV Software
but nothing brought my LAN connectivity back.
Dell Support told me I have to wait for the guys from DisplayLink to release a new driver version which fixes this.
So I'm wondering if there might be other people who have been affected by this and maybe found a workaround.
Any idea appreciated,
I appreciate that this is just over a year old now - but just wondering if you managed to find a work-around or if the newer DisplayLink drivers fixed the issue?
