What are the best practices for XtremIO code when network/security scans on the storage controllers it can cause the
XMS software version 6.1.0-99. to hang. Support stopped the hung process causing it to restart. This resolved the issue and removed all the alerts as the storage controllers were then able to talk with the XMS again. But this is unacceptable from Customer point of view.
I agree that doesn't sound like a great long-term answer!

It's an old bug for X2 systems only that was fixed many months ago, and only occurs with a single vulnerability scanning program. It only affects systems running 6.0 (which this customer was, despite what was said above) so as long as you're running more recent code than that you're not going to hit it!
