Alienware Aurora ACT1250 Recurring Kernel-Power 41 Hard Resets - No BSOD or Dump
I have two Alienware Aurora ACT1250s with recurring unexpected hard resets since March 2026. Both were purchased new from Dell in July, 2025.
One has logged seven Kernel-Power 41 events: 03/10, 03/17, 05/09, 05/14, 06/17, 07/05, and 07/15.
All have the same basic signature:
BugcheckCode = 0
SleepInProgress = 0
PowerButtonTimestamp = 0
LongPowerButtonPressDetected = false
BugcheckInfoFromEFI = false
Most also show:
ConnectedStandbyInProgress = true
There are no dump/minidump files, no WHEA errors, no Event ID 1074 planned restart, and no evidence of a power-button shutdown. F12 diagnostics pass, BIOS logs are clean, and the issue occurred again after updating to the latest BIOS. All drivers are current.
I have a second identical ACT1250 with one similar event over the same period.
I have open support requests for both machines but nothing has been identified yet. It has not happened while the computers are actively being used. The behavior is almost as if the power just gets pulled. Both are on battery backups.
Has anyone else seen this pattern on their ACT1250 - Kernel-Power 41 hard resets with BugcheckCode 0, no dump, no WHEA, and often ConnectedStandbyInProgress = true?

This might happen when the pc is doing auto updating during a time you are not actively using it. Re: 03/10, 03/17, 05/09, 05/14, 06/17, 07/05, and 07/15.
you may want to check whether on these dates there was Windows or bios update.
It is possible when an update is not going smoothly it triggers a hard reset.

Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) (if not already) needs to be True Since Wave, not Quasi or some other sine wave.

Update:
Since my original post, I found an additional BIOS-level clue on the ACT1250 with the recurring resets.
For the latest event on 07/15/2026, Dell’s BIOS Power Event Log shows:
07/15/2026 00:40:12 - Power Off - ASF2 force off
07/15/2026 00:40:13 - Power On
Windows then logged Kernel-Power 41 after the system came back up.
I am mainly looking to hear from other ACT1250 owners: after a Kernel-Power 41 hard reset or unexplained power-off, have you checked the BIOS Power Event Log, and do you see either of these entries?
Power Off - ASF2 force off
Power Off - ACPI power management
Trying to determine whether this is isolated to my systems or possibly an ACT1250 platform / firmware / power-management pattern.
