Alienware Aurora R6 won’t boot after installing new ram
I recently purchased new ram for my Alienware computer (Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16gb -2400Mhz)... and my computer won’t boot. The power button blinks yellow 4 times before turning off after a minute of waiting... help?

Is it mixed with the existing memory?
These machines can be picky with aftermarket memory and this might be an issue you are having.
You could also try entering the bios and loading the system defaults.

"You could also try entering the bios and loading the system defaults."
The 4 blink error is a POST failure (RAM issue), there is no accessing BIOS until that clears.

I actually figured it out. The existing stick inside was 16gb. I put the 2-8gb sticks right next to the pre-existing one. Once I spaced them out, and had an empty slot separating the 2, it worked.
