Area 51 R1 missing serial ATA driver mystery solved
After 17 years
there were some old discussions on this topic
fresh install of Windows 7 x64 updates to 2016
only one driver missing: serial ATA
Don’t want to try install Intel Matrix storage driver (three ver. on support site) for that. AI said it is the one.

Go inside bios>Integrated device
disable:
JMicron 363 sata controller (looks like may be that?)
Sil3132 e-SATA controller
then missing serial ata driver is gone
Enable JMicron, leave Sil3132 disabled, still good
enable Sil 3132, missing driver resurfacing
So it is Sil3132 eSATA controller that is missing “serial ATA driver”. Don’t need it. Disable it. All good.

install AWCC for A51 R1 Windows 7 x64
Alienware Command Center Desktop, v.2.6.17.0 Command Center for Desktops, A05
but prerequisite: need to install .NET Fx4
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

This AWCC install feels quite different from old experiences. I don’t recall ever needing to install .NET 4 first. This version of AWCC is the only one listed on Dell support now.

@redxps630 ,
1. Sounds normal/reasonable.

This is what I ran for many years on my Aurora R1 (very similar MIO-Board):
Windows-7 : AW-CC v2.7.25.0
Windows-8/8.1/10/11: AW-CC v2.8.11.0 (still running)
