Yes, the Dell updates do get pushed out automatically via windows update. I'm not sure why some pc's get targeted and others do not. You can block it by disabling UEFI capsule firmware updates in bios, f2 on startup.
Also, do you have a win10 insiders build?

I have Windows version 1909 (10.0.18363.1016)

"Windows Update" just pushed out BIOS 1.0.7 and successfully installed without any issues
