Aurora R13, Bios 1.0.2 re-released?
I'm not sure why, but the latest bios release is back to 1.0.2.
Does anyone know why its dropped back from 1.2.1 back to an original BIOS? Seriously Dell, you guys must be having some serious problems to have to roll back to a 2021 bios release!!
Also FYI, I'm getting random freezes and reboots with this one. I think I need to go back to 1.2.1 as I did not have any issues with this one rebooting or freezing.

No reason to roll back to an older BIOS unless directed to. If they were having issues with the 1.2.1, they would have removed it.

Yeah I know, dummy me didn't check that it was an old version.. Dell should make sure its known that its an older version in the notes (there was nothing said when I read it) and not to flash if already ok on the latest and not having issues....
Will be going back to 1.2.1 tonight

It gets even better. This new/old release is dated May 31, 2022. If you look at the older releases indicated by this update, it points to an older bios with a release date of June 1, 2022.
I hope a moderator chimes in to clear this up. But at this point how can anyone trust any software update release provided by Dell Support?

I learned long ago not to trust any driver listed as "new" on Dells site and not to take any advice from the unsupportive support assistant.
Do not go blindly installing software updates based on the fact Dell lists them as new. This is not the first time an older BIOS update has been listed as new.
