Aurora R14, can I use G.Skill Ripjaws 8GBx4?

I have an Alienware Aurora R14.

It currently has Kingston Fury 8gb x2.

A friend sent me some RAM to try (G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb x4) but it had made the power button flash upon reconnecting the power cord (Amber x3, White x1) which online said is a CMOS issue.

I've since swapped them back and reset the CMOS and it's currently working on the original RAM, I've just been considering turning on XMP in the OC part of BIOS to re-try the other ones.

Yes, the Alienware Aurora R14 (Ryzen Edition) supports G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 8GB modules in a 4x8GB (32GB total) configuration.

The Aurora R14 has four DDR4 memory slots, supporting up to 128GB total with speeds of 3200 MHz, 3466 MHz, or 3600 MHz. It explicitly lists 8GB per slot as compatible, along with dual- or quad-channel setups.

G.Skill Ripjaws (like the V series) are DDR4 modules commonly available at 3200 MHz (e.g., CL16, 1.35V), matching the system's specs perfectly. Users report success with third-party RAM brands including G.Skill on Alienware systems, though Dell doesn't provide a public QVL list—standard DDR4 works reliably.

I did try it again and ended up getting it to work, it just didn't allow me to do all 4 at once.

I did sticks in 1&2, turned it on and let it sit for 10 minutes? Powered off and on.

Then did a stick in 3, turned on, powered off and on.

Then 4 the same way.
