Aurora R4, 6THX2 Nvidia 680 with Gigabyte cooler died. Looking for replacement

Alienware Aurora R4
My old R4 is not showing anything on the screens after booting. I only get one beep. When it has been viewable I ran the epsa and the card passed but on subsequent boots nothing showing. I have had some Blue screen screen crashes lately and they all quote a Nvidia driver so believe the card is now defective.
Is there any chance for me to find something that would fit into this system.

I would replace CMOs battery with a new coin battery CR2032 and clear CMOs settings by motherboard jumper. It is too early to pin the no video issue on GTX680. If you have a simple PCIe video card you could use that to test R4 too.

Can you tell me what version PCIe card I need. I do not have one so would need to purchase one.
