Aurora R9, CPU fan error

I have my Alienware Aurora R9 which I took to a local shop so that they would change the thermal paste. Long story short I got it back and now it gives me a CPU fan error, the CPU reaches 100C as soon as it boots to OS after the error and AWCC shows me the fan speed (which was the pump at 0%). What do you guys think is the issue?

The image shows how they connected it, the top fan I assume is right and the 3pin connector that comes out of the cooler is connected to pump fan, I just moved it to the cpu fan slot and still no good.

Since they had to remove the cooler to repaste the CPU, first guess would be they forgot to plug the fan back in or plugged it into the wrong connection. Or worse case scenario, the fan was damaged in some way. Pull the side off the case and watch for the fan to be running properly. If it worked fine before and does not now then something happened during the repaste procedure. Also make sure the pump is plugged in.

Look at this picture: Aurora R9 assembly

Hard to see on the picture you posted, but it looks to me like the white socket with the black connector is not right. Follow the actual wiring and see where it goes to. I am thinking both connectors should be tight together, but on yours you have what looks a gap of 1 pin between them.

Do you have a 3rd party AIO or is that OEM Alienware CPU cooler?
