Aurora R9, not starting up

Question

Hello. I've stumbled across an issue with my Alienware Aurora R9 Desktop today. I've had it for several years and never had any issues, yesterday it was working flawlessly. Upon trying to start it today, it turns on the orange light (no blinks) fans spin and turns back off. Pressed the PSU button, checked cables and RAM but nothing was solved. Any help please?

Unplug from wall.

Press power button a couple of times, then hold-down for 15 seconds.

Check power-cord is securely plugged-into back of Aurora.

Plug back into wall AC-power

Press power-button once to start.

Is anything showing on monitor?

@Tesla1856​ Thank you for responding! I tried to do that procedure, sadly same result. It shows nothing on the display. It shuts off almost immediately after I press the button. GPU spins, fans spin, but that's pretty much it.

Sounds like you might have a major hardware malfunction. It's likely still kinda nice and relevant. You might consider having it professionally serviced.   Just remember to always do the 'dissipate flea power' each time before touching any components inside it (so it doesn't get any worse).   Unplug from wall. Press power button a couple of times, then hold-down for 15 seconds.

@Tesla1856​ Thank you for your assistance. I really think the PSU has given up. Normally when testing it ramps up the fans a lot but when I press the button despite the green light, everything feels so weak and quiet. I'll try to find a technician to work on it or test the PSU. If not, well the little R9 has lived its life and time to move on. Thank you once again!

You don't need new cables (since swapping Dell-OEM for same) but I thought it impressive they have them all listed there.
