My AW2725DF monitor broke and I tried everything I could to fix it but could not, more detail:
Issue
monitor flicks red, green blue, white, black when turned on, forever
Things that don't work or don't fix the issue
* on screen display and joystick do not work
* power cycling monitor does not fix it, even after leaving it plugged off for a week
* reassembling monitor and reconnecting wires/connections does not fix it
* there are seemingly no burned or broken components inside the monitor
* the OLED panel itself shows vibrant red, green, blue, white , black colors vibrantly as it should, which means it is firmware/ other hardware issue
* downgrading/upgrading/reinstalling firmware through USB A -> USB B cable does not work
* restarting PC or re-plugging HDMI/DP cables does not work
* using a different PC does not work
* pressing power button or joystick button for 30 seconds does not work
* holding different combinations of joystick direction or power button for multiple seconds does not work
* cleaning wires/connectors does not work (though I was not super thorough)
* DDC/CI and VCP stuff seem to mostly function, for example sending factory reset signal worked, but it did not fix the issue, it just changed color of backlight LED.
* my brother has same monitor, comparing VCP codes did not yield much results, though I have not gone deep there, likely not the issue
* hitting monitor like an old TV does not work
* using different cables, like ones of my brother's monitor does not work
* switching HDMI/DP ports on monitor/GPU does not work
* no combination of turning on the monitor or restarting PC or unplugging HDMI/DP cables work
* unplugging joystick or other less useful components does not fix the issue
* replacing main interface board with a brand new one does not work
* RMA does not seem to work in Georgia for a monitor bought in USA (or is very troublesome/expensive)
I managed to make it work once by having it unplugged and the doing random button combination, but I can't make that work again. If anyone has any idea of what I can do, it would be very helpful.

* It appears to be stuck in the Dell service center FSM (Factory Service Menu) BurnIn mode. Did you somehow enter the FSM and make changes?
I tried "Get Help Now" and unfortunately they could not help me, since I live in Georgia (country) and dell does not provide return or repair service here. I want to add that today I managed to get it back to normal state twice, but it keeps going back to cycling colors after power cycling, so it seems that in very rare cases (like 1 in 20) when I full power cycle it works for a bit.
@DELL-ChrisM2 Does anyone have solution for this? I've spent days searching for solutions on the internet and replacing a part, but nothing works. If anyone in Dell knows how to fix this for this specific model or what causes this, which part I can try replacing, I'm so lost :(
I haven't found anything on the internet on how to turn off FSM for AW2725DF, no joystick/power button combination that I tried has worked. is there any way to contact someone in Dell who knows how to access FSM for AW2725DF? all the instructions are about how to turn off FSM for older monitors with physical buttons, none for a joystick on AW2725DF.
@lumiey No. The policy mandate is clear. Dell cannot assist in this.
If the issue just appeared out of the blue, in my opinion, this justifies a refurbished exchange.

@DELL-ChrisM2 I've done that already, they don't have return/repair service in Georgia. I could do ownership transfer to USA address and return there but that is incredibly impractical because of delivery fees of a huge monitor box and 10 day broken monitor return policy, which is likely impossible for delivery services from here. I am stuck
A monitor getting stuck cycling through flashing colors can be especially concerning when it happens unexpectedly. It would be useful to know whether the behavior continues with the video cable disconnected, as well as whether a power reset or factory reset changes the display behavior.
@DashMark Yes it happened unexpectedly after my PC went to sleep and woke up I think, I tried factory reset and power cycle many times, my current bandaid solution is to power cycle it a lot, waiting up to a day until I plug it back in, which rarely works, but when it does I just make sure to never turn off the monitor or PC again. connecting/disconnecting video cable does not affect anything, though I make sure to have cable plugged in when I power cycle, since I'm not sure if it's necessary to make it work, I have not succeeded in power cycling with cable disconnected, so just to be safe I have it connected.
