Is there a way to switch display input without the on screen button?
any software or hardware solution, any at all...

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the AW3418DW Service Tag but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
Read through this. The DDM (Dell Display Manager) software has this ability and shows the Alienware monitors.

You mean like a switch so you can hook up two PCs to the same monitor and manually select which one to use?

I have an AW3418DW and trying to install the DDM (Dell Display Manager) I get a message upon installation that says "there does not appear to be any supported monitors connected at this time".

Looks like support for this monitor was removed?
