17 R4, won’t boot up, kmode exception not handled
Was playing warzone on my 17 r4 with gtx 1080 and it crashed mid game and went to blue screen of death with “kmode exception not handled” as error and then loaded to 100% but would restart so I manually did it. Now the keyboard lights up and the Alienware power button will blink 3 times red and 1 time blue but the screen will not light up nor will it boot up into windows.
Has anyone had this problem? I tried to drain the power by removing the power cable and holding power button 30 seconds and then plugging it back in when I turn it back on and leaving it unplugged when turning it back on. Neither have worked. I imagine it has to do with the poor thermal cooling design of the CPU causing something to over heat?

That is often a driver issue but it seems a little more serious in your case. Do you not get a beep code when it fails to boot?
I would start by removing all your RAM sticks and trying one at a time.
Also, the power drain only works if you disconnect the battery as well so you could try that but I'm not sure it will work.
