m15 R3, second motherboard failed
This model is a lemon from the get go. The cooling system catches dust and detritus internally, so you have to dismantle regularly to clean. Huge design flaw. I don't think I'll buy any laptop ever again without seeing a teardown first.

Hi @Eyedawg ,
I see your issue is that the M15 R3 is constantly getting dust and is a design flaw; and while I agree with what you're saying, it shouldn't be on the consumer to fix it.
I see that the M15 R3 has side ventilation on it and I would like for you to try holding a piece of paper close to it and crank the fans to maximum speed: this will show whether its intaking (sucking in the paper) or exhausting (blowing it outwards).
I would recommend you get some sort of elevated surface to place the laptop on as well as clean the area around it and open a window during use, this'll help reduce the chance of dust as well because those particles come from dead skin and all that stuff.
And finally, I recommend after you clean it for the last time; please try undervolting it slightly for the CPU and try adjusting the cooling profile to what you feel would help it cool best and reduce the chance of sucking in dust.
I know this is a frustrating issue but that's why there's a community of people who deal with these issues on a daily basis.
