m17 R2, crackling sizzling sound

This is the same problem stated in a previous post (from 2019) by @marky77  :

"m17 R2, acute and constant discontinuous crackling sound"

I cannot reply to the 2019 post and so I am creating a new discussion thread.

I have exactly the same problem stated in the above post; namely - sizzling, crackling sound from the the "soundbar" that seems to originate from somewhere between F6 and F7 keys.

There seem to be many posts about buzzing and crackling speakers. Many people pointed to the speakers buzzing. So, I physically disconnected the speakers from the main board but the sound persists. This is very surprising because it leads me to think that this buzzing is coming from another speaker (?) or some other component. I removed and examined the "System Board" and I could not find another speaker. I don't know where the crackling is happening ( a faulty capacitor perhaps?)

I have tried and given up on trying to fix the problem with BIOS and software updates. I am willing to physically disconnect whatever that needs to be disconnected to stop the distracting crackling sound that is reminiscent of the bygone days of HDDs and Floppies. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.

Some motherboards come with piezoelectric beepers for diagnostic error messaging purposes. Could it be that there is a beeper soldered onto the motherboards which is crackling?
