m17 R5 AMD, powered, charging by USB-C port?
Alienware m17 R5 AMD
Does the m17 R5 AMD have USB-C charging? Can I charge my m17 R5 by using the USB-C port in the back? I'm preparing for travel so I can get a big power bank for it.

No. The system cannot be charged over USB-C.

The online m17 R5 AMD Setup and Specifications PDF shows the specifications for the rear USB-C port. It does not mention charging. This means that Dell never tested a USB-C power bank on it.

Can you be more specific, with links to documentation saying so, or an official Dell employee from the relevant department saying so?
There are a lot more people asking this online and I've provided at least one proof saying otherwise. Sorry but just hearsay does not go very far these days.
