@Sydneyblue the battery has been tested and works fine. once started the unit will run for over two hours on battery. they replaced the motherboard and keyboard and windows twice?? same issue from the depot out of the box. phone support is very frustrating.

Just because it was tested that doesnt mean anything in my opinion because clearly something isnt working. If that was me i would go buy a battery and pop it in but thats just me

@Sydneyblue this is a warranty issue. They have had the computer 3 times over 2 months and never fix anything.

when connected to power supply the system starts fine. when no connected to power the system will not start but power down at the Alienware splash screen. the system was sent to dell 3 times over 3 months with no resolution. reinstalled windows 3 times even though windows was never the issue. now waiting for onsite tech. Why can't it be fixed at the depot? why does someone need to come to my house to repair? last appointment was 9am-6pm and got cancelled by email at 5:35pm. wow.

<Do not start multiple threads for same issue. Merging toyour original thread. DELL-Admin>

sent to the depot 5 times. 2 in home service visits. and it still does not work. 4 motherboards. cables. power distribution board? paper weight. Dell has been no help. started 12/20/2024... and continues today? 3 months to fix a computer? lost my $99 upgrade from microsoft to windows 11 pro.. seems they use the serial number from the motherboard to certify?

Call and ask for a replacement system.
