How to increase the number of migration jobs in Avamar 19.1?
Hello everyone, I need to increase the number of migration jobs on Avamar 19.1.
I've done a lot of research and haven't been able to find a solution.

Hi @PetersonPS I will assume that you have a good reason for doing this (speeding up the migration perhaps). Keep in mind that each stream opens up an avtar process which consumes memory, and it's easy to raise the limit too much and impact your system performance, or even cause the system to crash. For example, AVEs have fairly limited memory, unless you increase it further.
It's possible to increase the number of jobs in the migration plugin, but you should consult with Avamar support with a ticket to ensure that this doesn't cause other issues. Hope that makes sense.

Hi @DELL-Greg M I started with a few jobs and gradually increased it by observing the CPU/Mem impact of Avamar. I reached 10 jobs (I believe that is the limit). Migration rates are actually very low, I believe that due to the characteristics of some of the servers we are migrating, they are file servers. So the way I thought to speed up this migration was to increase the number of jobs in parallel.
