not able to connect to Storageprocessor

although we can ping both storageprocessor of our CX700, we can;t connect to them to login. The IE session using the Ip-adress of the storageprocessor fails and timed out.

Is there a way to reset the SP of SP agent to get connectivity.

Try going to https://ip_address_of_either_sp/setup logon using your Navisphere credentials, and look for the option to Restart the Managment Server. Wait a few minutes and see if you can connect to the SP that you just restarted the management server on. This may resolve the issue, but it is odd that you cannot connect to either SP.

Another possibility if you still cannot connect is a Java problem with the workstation you are connecting from. Have you tried connecting from different systems using different versions of Java?

I've seen similar issues where everything kept working fine, but one of the 2 SPs was unmanageble. We resolved it by doing a re-seat of the troubled SP (pulling it out and putting it back in).

Hi,

You can try as Aran Said.

But you can also check through navicli commands to confirm the same.

Try out the command
navicli -h getagent --- this should display the Array Properties.
navicli -h getsp ---- To confirm the SP`s Status.

If this fine...

Try to reboot the Management Server

1. Open http://IP Address/setup
2. logon
3. click on Restart Management Server.

After this try out.

And make sure that your IE is not configured for any Proxy servers.
