Storage in Conservation mode and deleting snapshots
Hello,
So we have this sv2020 machine that was previously managed by someone external started giving alerts about the low space on the "10k" folder, i noticed that there is only one snapshot on each of our volumes and these can't really be expired because it gives the "Expiring the last volume may cause data to be moved to raid 10 storage"
at this point the 10k folder has like 60gb free, we tried adding 4 more disks and that didn't work, and i'm not really sure how to proceed.
This machine is out of support at this point, we are working on the slow bureaucratic process that my work uses to get support contract renewed.

With that issue you will need to do the following;
Troubleshooting Conservation or Emergency Mode
To resolve conservation or emergency mode, reclaim consumed disk space.
About this task
Perform each step, then wait a few minutes and check available disk space.
Steps
1. Delete any unnecessary volumes and then empty the recycle bin.
2. Expire unnecessary Snapshots.
3. If applicable, run a manual space recovery on Windows server volumes.

If these steps do not resolve conservation or emergency mode, contact Dell Technical Support.

Preventing Low Space Modes
Manage disk space to prevent a Storage Center from entering Conservation or Emergency mode.
Prevent low space issues using these tips:
• Empty the recycle bin regularly.
• Lower the frequency of snapshots or set snapshots to expire earlier.
• Change the storage profile to a more space efficient profile. Available profiles might include Low Priority (Tier 3) and Maximize
Efficiency.
• Configure a threshold definition to create an alert when space starts to get low.
• Run Space Recovery on Windows volumes through the Storage Manager Server Agent.
• Migrate volumes from a pagepool with a full tier to a different pagepool with more free space.
• Delete any unnecessary volumes.
• If Data Reduction is licensed, enable Compression or Deduplication with Compression on some volumes.

Hello!
I'm experiencing the same problem today. Do you remember what procedures were necessary to recover the volume's usability even though it wasn't completely full?
I have a snapshot that, when set to expire, remains there.
