thanks for answering but unfortunately I cannot contact any techie, because you can only do that if the laptop is registered in Mexico and mine is registered in Germany (after entering my service tag, the system returns a message that I neither can send an e-mail nor chat with the representative because of that). I will try to call this number but I think that it is also for local support and I think they speak Spanish only.

Anyone knowing the real number for the Dell global support in Mexico?

Hi, it looks like the global support is a myth. The numbers for mexican support are wrong and cannot be reached. One week ago I sent also an e-mail to the support in Germany, no answer whatsoever ever since.
