Order is "In Production" but received FedEx tracking with label created
I ordered two Alienware x17 R1 on January 15, 2022 with an estimated delivery date of January 20 to 25, 2022. I opted for the expedited delivery.
My order was confirmed and went into "In Production" status on the same day. On January 18, 2022 I received two tracking numbers in my FedEx app with justba label created info. It hasn't moved at all as of this writing and the status of my order is still "In Production".
What is going on, Dell? Has my order shipped or not? At the time of my order I made sure the laptops are "In Stock" and your representatives assured me that I will get them on the said time frame and there is no delay or parts shortage. Did you blatantly lie to me to make a sale? I ordered on January 15 because the advertised estimated delivery is between January 20 to 25, 2022 and I was clear to the representative I spoke to that these units are a birthday gift and the person that is receiving them will be leaving the country on January 28, 2022!
I spent $8k on these and I'm a first time Dell customer and I expect little clarity on what's going on. If they don't arrive by Tuesday or even Thursday (January 27, 2022) I'm just going to cancel this order and regret ordering from you.

Yea, having the same issue. Ordered my laptop on Jan 13, expected delivery date was Jan 21. It was then delayed to the 28th, and again today i just received another email saying its DELAYED AGAIN now until Feb 10. At this point i am about to just cancel my order and buy a different brand. Makes me furious that if there is some kind of shortage and they're not telling people. Seems like theyre just lying and taking our money at this point. Id like a honest answer on my order and when it will be expected cause i cant stand receiving delay emails one after another....

Another thing to note is that mine still says "In Production" as of this writing and it is still saying estimated delivery date is January 20-25,2022 and I don't even have any delay notifications or email. It's like Dell completely left me in the dark.

Did you ever receive your computers? If so what date, and do you recall how the information updated?
this is crazy, i'm having same issue.
