I believe that module used with VDPA is using Avamar so you should check DD Boost compatibility guide between Avamar and DD. However, I have no idea which version of Avamar would that be. Unless you get answer here, you can move this to Avamar where Ian might help or even Everything VMware At EMC.

Thanks for the update!
This is What I found as per your saying ...
VDP 5.1 Avamar 6.1
VDP 5.5 Avamar 7.0
https://support.emc.com/docu48595_Data-Domain-Boost-Compatibility-List.pdf?language=en_US
Listed supported versions for Avamar/DD/DDboost
--> Avamar 7.0 supports DD boost 2.6.0.3 DD OS 5.3.x or 5.4
I also asked Everything VMware At EMC. for the version list ... just in case
thanks !

I was told by my EMC CE that Avamar 7.0 / DD integration does not currently support vSphere 5.5

Dynamox,
That's correct. Avamar 7.0 SP1 will support vSphere 5.5.
Ayas,
I'm looking into finding documentation about boost version support for VDPA. Is there a specfic version concern you have?
Thanks,
-Ed
