Rest API to get the Backup Report -> for clients

Hello folks,

I have a requirement where a user will enter a client name (server name) and then I need to write code to retrieve the backup report (preferably using Rest API) for the last 24 hours, then email it to the customer. Can someone point me to the correct Rest API for DPA and an directions on how to achieve it?
