can't update past 3.10.0
I'm trying to backup and restore to a new appliance in order to get rid of a cert i uploaded. I'm building up the new target appliance to be on 3.10.2 so it matches the source.
But as soon as i get onto v3.10 it doesn't find any new builds to install when on auto download from dell. However it is finding the plugins.
When manually pointing to https://downloads.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/3.10.2/ it finds the update but says the download size is only 1kb and then fails to update. Same for v3.10.1.
I went through the same process at our DR last week and it updated from 3.10.0 to 3.10.2 fine. This week i've been having issues.
Hosting the files locally on IIS has the same issue too. Any ideas?

Finally I was able to do it opening a ticket with Dell and a support guy sent to me a guide mounting NFS drive, downloading the part for the xml tar.gz to a specific folder and configure as offline update. It seems that something is wrong in the xml files to upgrade from 3.10.0.169 to 3.10.2.13 in the dell repository.
Thanks,

Hd565,
So I haven't seen this before, but the files online are clearly not 1kb
and if you download the update file and host locally that extra makes no sense, that is unless OME itself is just having a problem. Now without logs there isn't much we can do to identify the specific cause, but I would recommend that you call in to support to work with the OpenManage team directly, as they can review the logs and work directly with the system.
Let me know if this helps.

Hello, Having same issue, as I can't upgrade from 3.10.2.13 to 4.2 becasue a certificate issue, I'm trying to restore the backup in new OME VM that I created with the 3.10.0.169 available to download in the webpage, but it is necessary to match with the same that the backup has. I created the new VM with 3.10.0.169 that you can download and trying to upgrade it from different ways, using online and directory folder from an IIS that I installed, and it is failing. I installed it in 2 environments to test it, it seems, for me that something is wrong in the XML files. I tried to upgrade to versions 3.10.1 and 3.10.2 with no luck, 2 different installations 2 different sites, no firewalls.. It is not updating and I need to update to restore the backup that it is in 3.10.2.13. Downloading plugins works well, but not the new OME Version.

Hello,
Can you try this link?
It worked for me and I was able to download 3.10.2. Size: 234,076KB
https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/3.10.2/minimal/omenterprise_3.10.2.tar.gz
You cannot upgrade from 3.10.2.13 to 4.2
You would need to install OpenManage Enterprise 4.1 as a new appliance then follow the instructions in OpenManage Enterprise 4.1 to migrate data from previous version OpenManage Enterprise 3.10.x
Note: You must be on OpenManage Enterprise version 3.10.x to "migrate" to OpenManage Enterprise 4.1
Then Offline upgrades from OpenManage Enterprise 4.0 or 4.0.1 or 4.1 -to- 4.2 are an in-place upgrade

@DELL-Charles R Yes, I know that I can't ugpgrade it, but I need to run 3.10.2.13 to restore the backup first without a certificate.
You can download the files as I said, but do you know how to install it from there?, I didn't find instructions, only there rpm files.
Regards,
Juan Pedro.

Hello, here the installation Instructions:
Extract the Tarball: Once you have downloaded the omenterprise_3.10.2.tar.gz file, extract it using a command like tar -xzf omenterprise_3.10.2.tar.gz.
Install RPM Files: Navigate to the extracted directory and install the RPM files. You can use the following command:
sudo rpm -ivh *.rpm
Follow the Installation Prompts: The installation process should guide you through the necessary steps.

@DELL-Marco B As w e said, we truing and it is not working with th downloaded files, it is not detecting a new update, and if put directly to the folder, it is detecting and dowloading only a 1Kb file for some reason when e can see, that for sure, it is a 235 MB file.

Hello
please try to clear browser cache and a different browser or workstation
You may try contacting Support directly and an engineer can do a remote session to get a look with you.
