Continued issue with driver mismatches
I have multiple PowerEdge R340's still showing they need a critical updated chipset driver, but the driver referenced is for Server 2022 and these are all 2019. They are also running the latest chipset drivers available for 2019.
I also have several R7515's running server 2019 that are showing they need two drivers; BOSS-S1 adapter and HBA330mini. The BOSS-S1 adapter driver is specific to Server 2022 and 2025 so install fails because the server is 2019. And the HBA driver actually points to a Mellanox network adapter driver, so install also fails on that task because there are no Mellanox drivers on the system.
Finally, we still have the AMD chipset driver issue that was acknowledged almost three months ago in this post.
In a nutshell, we have an increasing number of servers that are showing out of compliance with missing critical updates, yet none of the updates actually apply to either the hardware or the platform.
Is there any way around this?

Hello,
What version OME are you using?
We had another report of an inconsistency in the catalog.
I can report this to the Systems Management team.
If you have some images of the issue(s) that could help, I can submit those too.

@DELL-Charles R We're currently on version 4.1.0 (Build 237), but this issue has persisted over several previous versions.
Not really possible to capture necessary info in a screenshot. But one longstanding example is our PowerEdge 340's running Server 2019. Their current chipset driver is 10.1.18807.8279. OMEnt shows they need 10.1.19283.8349.
But the link provided in OMEnt shows the package only applies to server 2022. Further, 10.1.18807.8279 is the latest available driver on Dell's support site for server 2019 so as far as I can tell there is no newer chipset driver available for server 2019 than what is already installed.

Hello at this point, overall, I would like to recommend that you raise an official case with this. The online forum may not be the most suitable to help you. Issues are not OME related, but most likely a catalog issue, https://dell.to/3UvYS9F
You can also create custom catalogues using update plugin manager.
You can decide what files to have there and remove the ones that do not work, this way compliance can be maintained and all be green.

UPM allows adding and deleting files in local OME repositories.
Respectfully,

I get that a lot. OME will say I need to update some firmware or driver, and when I try to install it the update will say this is not compatible with your system. The compliance component doesn't work well, and never has. OME 2.5 was much more reliable in that regard.
