Inaccurate OME Reports part 2
We have over 150 Dell servers in our domain and use OME (version 2.3.0.1721) to manage them. I want to use reports to view the firmware level that the PERCs are. I have gone to Reports > Server Configuration > Server Components and Versions and exported All Devices as a csv. I can see inconsistencies with the results displayed here and if I view data from Manage > Devices >
Specifically, I see that a PowerEdge R510 server has a PERC firmware version (the latest) in Manage > Devices but I have two entries in the Reports > Server Configuration > Server Components and Versions; the latest and an older version.
I understand how important it is to have the iDRAC as well as OMSA in OME for a server and can say that it all looks good in Manage > Devices

No, I am in OME, in the Manage tab then in the Devices sub-tab. I can search for the device then double click it. It will then present me with a Details screen and within this I can see the PERC firmware version under Controller Information. It will correctly tell me what version the firmware is. If I go to Reports and query the same device I will see 2 values for PERC firmware, which, of course, is not right. I have done more research and see it is restricted to PowerEdge R510 servers. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the query.
When you refer Manage -> Devices, you are looking at Software Inventory info table or something else?

In the same device details page, what version of this controller is being reported in "Software Inventory Information" table?

OK, I understand. I have a PE R510 that is reporting 2 versions of the PERC firmware in the reports. If I go to Manage > Devices I see only the newest version in "Controller Information". However, there are two versions under "Software Inventory Information". Thanks
