Difference between 1500W and PSU and 1500W PSU V2

Hello,

Can someone please enlighten us all on the difference between:
Dell Pro Max Tower T2 with 1500W (80 Plus Platinum) PSU
and
Dell Pro Max Tower T2 with 1500W (80 Plus Platinum) PSU V2

We'd like the option of being able to connect GPUs with the 12VHPWR connector from the DYI market.  For example:

I couldn't see it mentioned in the manual
