Tower Plus EBT2250, incorrectly identified on Microsoft web site
Hello,
During the setup process, my new Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 has been registered with my Microsoft account.
On the https://account.microsoft.com/devices page it is displayed as :
OS Edition | Windows Core |
Version | 2009 |
OS Build | 10.0.26100.3915 |
System type | Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 |
(OS Build is correct BTW)
Microsoft support has not been able to understand how this happened. I would be interested to know if other users of the same model are facing the same issue. And, if not, what am I supposed to to ?

* Go HERE
* Insert the private Tower Plus EBT2250 Service Tag number in the blank
* Press Enter
* On right under "Quick links", click "View product specs"
* Click "Expand all"
* What operating system is listed as installed by Dell?

N85J7 references Windows 11 product key
CDDD8 doesn't appear as anything in parts tool.
What is most important to you and us is in Windows 11 System Information. What does it show for OS Name and Version?

I'm not sure what you mean by "it".
Anyway, here's what "winver" is showing :

So you have verified that Dell correctly sent you Windows 11 24H2 (26 100.3915). Dell cannot know why the Microsoft site is not listing correct data.
"it" = Windows 11 System Information App = mine

@DELL-Chris M
And Microsoft support guys has replied after analyzing the case that they don't know why the operating system information on my account is incorrect and told me to contact Dell support.
I guess there is no solution then.
I hope that it won't create any problem regarding Microsoft support issues.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It seems like the model info on Microsoft’s site isn’t accurate. You might want to try checking the manufacturer’s official website or use the device’s hardware ID in Device Manager to get the correct details. That’s worked for me before when Windows misidentified something.

Thanks, at least I know I'm not alone.
I know that.
By posting here, I wanted to know if it was an isolated issue. Now I have my answer.

I can't even see it on the MS page? I does show my Wife's existing PC this Tower is replacing. Can't add a NEW DEVICE either it seems, has to be a 'type' MS knows about. Used OTHER and then entered for the Serial Number the Service tag, didn't like that?
