OMCI 8.0

I am trying to run the clear chassis intrusion alert message vbscript. I found that the script does not work with OMCI 7.6 but does work with OMCI 8.0. Why don't any of the scripts work with 7.6? Why did OMCI increase in size from 4 MB for version 7.6 to 15 MB for version 8.0.

OMCI 8.x uses a different namespace within WMI to be compliant with DASH standards. 7.x scripts don't work on 8.0 and vice versa.
