OptiPlex 755 Windows 7 Cab?
Hi!
Is there a full driver cab file for Windows 7 for OptiPlex 755?
Eventhough I don't approve, our Danish branch want to deploy Win7 on their 755's as they cannot afford to replace them with 780's.

"Not at this time, but there has been many requests for CABs for older models. I've been planning on making a Windows 7 version of the Legacy CABs that I posted earlier this year, but haven't got around to them yet.

I doubt that the hardware differs that much from the 760, so maybe I can grab the same hardware..
Anyway, this could be a good cause to blame, because I feel that we must look forward (i.e 780 etc) instead of looking backwards.

From a driver perspective, there are enough differences between the 755 and 760 to give you issues if you try to use a newer cab. Many customers would like to look forward to fresh new hardware, but we're trying to help them were they are at today. I'll let you know when the Win7 cab for older systems is available.johan.tingstedt

Hey Warren,
I need to deploy an OptiPlex 755 with Windows 7. Could you please provide me with a CAB driver pack for this device? I'm planning on imaging it with Win 7 Pro 64-bit.

What tool has been used to build the image, ImageDirect, ImageAssist, SCCM, MDT, KACE?
