I have two questions Disk Align and Network connection
1) The Aligning Disk Sectors for Optimal Performance DISKPART Align=64 - Do you do this on Windows 2003, 2008 and VM that are 2003/2008 that are using the Microsoft Iscsi Initiator to get other LUNs.
2) I have a question under (Network Connections)- advance setting in Windows 2003 server- it shows the ISCSI network nics and the public or LAN nic.
What order should these be set for ?
example
Connections are listed in the order in which they are accessed by Network Services
Connections
LAN
ISCSI A
ISCSI B
What Bindings should be set for the ISCSI network under bindings
Example
Bindings for ISCSI A
X File and Printer for Microsoft Networks
X Internet Protocal
X Client for Microsoft Networks
X Internet Protocal
