Powervault MD1220 firmware update

I have a problem finding the correct firmware for the disks i my MD1220 Enclosure.

www.dell.com/.../drivers

I have 2 types

Dell enterprise plus Sandisk Model LB406S currently running firmware E313 and E338 in the drivers section i can find a firmware version D323, which seen a bit off.

Dell Constellation 2 Seagate Model ST91000640SS currently running firmware AS05, AS06, AS08 AS09 and AS0B in the drivers section i cannot find any firmware for this disk. I did find AS0D firmware for the disk here www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails

But that is for the MD3200 Controller and i'm not sure if it is compatible..

Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

Hello Kenneth Bubel,

The link that you provide from the MD32xx,34xx, 36xx,& 38xx HDD firmware has the latest firmware for all HDD that are supported by an MD’s. On the drives that you are trying to upgrade is there a dell part# listed on the drives? This will help look into see what type of drives that they are.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Its the disk in the picture, i can't find anything on the DP/N. The Model LB406S is also present in the MD3200 pack, but I am a bit hesitant to update from E313 to D339, it seem like a big jump in firmware versions. Can you confirm if this is the correct firmware level for the disk?

Next step, Can i use the firmware in the MD pack in Microsofts "Health Service for Storage Spaces Direct deployments"?

Hello Kenneth Bubel,

Thanks for the picture as it helps to see the DP/N: XRC7G. Now I am looking in to the drive as it is not on the support matrix for an MD series. All drives that go into an MD series needs to be on the support matrix to ensure that it will be seen correctly. I am checking on this drive to see if it was supposed to be added to the matrix.
