Can i install an SATA drive in an Inspiron 27 7730 All in One
I am thinking of purchasing an Inspiron 27 7730 All in One. Unsure if I can fit a SATA drive to this machine

Not internally, no -- if you must have one it needs to be external. The system supports one m.2 2230 NVMe drive internally.

Why it can be done on a 7720, it seems to have the space

There's no SATA connector on the mainboard in the newer system - there is on the older model. SATA is history as far as current (and recent) systems are concerned.

@ejn63 thanks, i,ll add an external drive i,m not use to that method, before i was working with xps with 3 hdd inside,
