Battery Replacement 7568
Over the years, I have replaced the battery three or four times. None have lasted nearly as long as the original. When shopping online, the prices for the GK5KY battery range from anywhere around $20 to $175. In the past, I have purchased the battery in the $30 range, but they never hold much of a charge, even when new. I've seen 3 and 6 cell batteries, with different ratings, but usually 43Wh. How can I know when I buy a new replacement battery, that I'm buying a battery I know will last more than a few months?

You're probably not going to find a new OEM battery for this model, which dates from 2016 -- your best bet is a reputable third party battery supplier (sometimes reviews on Amazon, etc.) are useful in differentiating the good from the bad suppliers.

Although I've tried that, I've learned that it's hit or miss, as once it was OK , but after that, not so good. I simply ended up ordering two batteries on EBAY, and hope one of the two will last.
