Dell Inspiron 14 5410 Battery/Charging indicator light blinking (1 Orange and 4 White)
Hey. Just noticed my laptop's charging indicator light blinking in this pattern. May I know what this code means? The sequence that I've noticed is, 1 orange and 4 white blinks.

The battery is bad.
You can try a reset (with the system unplugged and powered off, remove the base cover and disconnect the battery from the mainboard, hold the power button for 30 sec, and reassemble the system). If the same pattern shows up afterward when the system is powered up, replace the battery.
