Hi @AndresPG thank you for sharing your insight about this problem.

The Dell AWCC application is not standalone and uses parts of the operating system. There is considerable speculation about the AWCC update's program code not working, incompatibility with the operating system and conflicts with the other installed applications. The best recommendation is having removed the installed version of AWCC, install the Old version of AWCC that you know works.

We are all waiting on the Dell AWCC team to provide a universal fix to this well known problem.

Hi @ilandingin26 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.

Support for Dell G15 5511 includes Windows 10, 64-bit and Windows 11. The Alienware Command Center (AWCC) is installed on Windows 10 at the factory, but is the OS now Windows 11? Is it possible to install the AWCC Old version that worked? AWCC update requires existing AWCC to be uninstalled, but this Dell application leaves files behind. Revo Uninstaller Free will remove AWCC and its Advanced Scan will then remove all the remaining files so that AWCC update can be installed, as if for the first time. Download Revo Uninstaller Free - Remove unwanted programs easily

Hi @crimsom thanks so much for this. I can't seem to access the link. tried to search an alternative uninstaller, igot iobit uninstaller. It can't find any residual AWCC files. But when I search in the taskbar for alienware i find this. but can't seem to uninstall it.

Hi @ilandingin26  thanks for sharing update.

Please install and run Revo Uninstaller Free from within local admin account.

The link works and Revo Uninstaller Free is well known to uninstall all the AWCC multiple files, folders, and/or Registry entries left on your system, which can cause various issues if not removed.

First you should install Fusion driver, and then go to Nvidia control panel, go to Desktop tab and enable Developer setting, then Allow access to the GPU counters to all users. Now install the awwc 5.5.0 from dell site.

Hi @crimsom , I have a similar problem on my G15. Alienware was working fine, then it stopped working. I tried to unnistall by using that software and all the tutorials but without succes. What is wried is I completed reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch , so there is no trace of the pervious AWCC but I'm still unable to install, it got stuck in "loading" screen during the installation. Any idea what else can I do? Perhaps there is a conflict wiht a new version of AWCC or driver?

Thanks @crimsom ! You hit the nail. If someone face the same issue, what I did was to find the previous version (available in the Dell download page of AWCC). I dowloanded the April 2022 version, I could install it without any issue. Then OC controls, restart and all set!

Did you update the BIOS and then the Chipset drivers from the support website? Let us know.
1. Open a web browser and go to https://dell.to/3J9EDWu
2. Enter your system Service Tag and click “Search”
3. On the resulting page, click the “Drivers and Downloads” tab.
4. In the “Find drivers” drop-down menu, choose BIOS under “Operating System”
5. Click on the most recent version
of the BIOS and then download it.
6. Once downloaded, double-click the file icon on the lower left of the screen.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
8. Once it is done, the system will restart for the BIOS installation to complete and install.
