G15 5515, shutting off, going to sleep randomly, or display turning off
For a couple weeks now I've been having a very frustrating issue ever since I upgraded to Dell’s 1.13.0 System Bios for the Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition. Ever since then my Laptop’s display has gone black randomly when in use, randomly went to sleep or even shutdown when in use. I’ve done everything that was recommended to me and I even brought it to a repair shop where they deemed the problem to be “fixed.” The issue cannot be hardware related since a deep test showed all components are in good condition and even after reinstalling windows the problem still persists so my last guess is that the new Bios update has been the one causing all the problems. Should I downgrade System Bios? Or is there a fix that I’m not aware of?

Hi ItsumiGX welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Never try to update BIOS version just because a new version is posted. Laptop BIOS update instructions | DELL Technologies. Dell G15 5515 System BIOS | Driver Details | Dell US. When the BIOS version 1.13.0 is installed, you cannot downgrade the BIOS to earlier versions. You could download and install BIOS version 1.13.0 again, but risk bricking the laptop. You could wait for another BIOS version update.
G Laptops (Inspirons) are not Alienware Laptops | DELL Technologies.

@crimsom
Sorry about marking my issue under the Alienware discussion board I wasn't aware the G series is an Inspiron and I have already changed the topic. However, I have already attempt to install 1.13.0 again and the problem still persist. Thank you for the response though! I really appreciate it

I will later! I just want to know if anyone is having a similar issue before I do so!
