G3 15 3500 increasing storage
Dell G3 15 3500
Hi, I have dell g3 15 3500 laptop with i5 10300h, gtx1650ti, 8gb ram (4+4), 512gb ssd. I want to upgrade my storage but I don't know that my laptop supports another slot for ssd or hdd. I think full model name is Dell G3 15 3500-H5JDG

The answer depends on whether your system has a 3 or a 4 cell battery. If it has the 3 cell, you can install a 2.5" SATA drive alongside the original M.2 drive. If you have the 4 cell, you cannot.

This section lists the storage options on your Dell G3 15 3500.
- One M.2 2230/2280 solid-state drive
- One M.2 2230 solid-state drive and one M.2 2280 solid-state drive
- One 2.5-inch hard drive and one Intel Optane
NOTE 2.5-inch hard drive is supported only on the computers shipped with 3-cell (51 Wh) battery.
- One 2.5-inch hard drive and one M.2 2230/2280 solid-state drive

Yes, but be sure you look inside the system - it's common for a bracket, cable and screws to be required to mount a 2.5" drive -- and unless the system came with the drive, you'll need to order that hardware from Dell Spare Parts, since it's rarely included with the system.
