Which G3 model are we working with exactly? If you get the Dell logo on the internal screen during boot, and video returns with the basic display adapter, then we for sure should be looking at some software issue with the GPU driver. Have you tried loading an older version of the GPU driver? Or there may even be a newer version directly from Intel that isn't present on our support site.

AFAIK, the (now depreciated) Intel Graphics Command Center should be uninstalled

The (replacement) Intel Graphics Software App should be installed instead now-days.

Run Intel Graphics Software App. and then reboot, See if that helps.

You might also have to go to (legacy) Control Panel and update-driver on your on-board Intel video-card. See if it gets anything from Microsoft driver-cache.

Also check Settings / Windows Update / Advanced Options / Optional Updates / Driver  Updates ... for an updated Intel driver.

@DELL-Daniel V Hi,
I'm using Dell G3 3579 (i5-8300H). I tried with an older as well as an newer version, but still not work. Additionally, I can't see the Integrated Monitor Driver.

I’ve identified a potential cause: BIOS performed a firmware update on December 17, 2025. The issues I’m experiencing began probably after that installation
Is downgrading the BIOS version one way to do it? :(((

@user_80dfc8 ,

Hi @Tesla1856 ,

Intel UHD Graphics 630 is very common:

Windows should toss-it-to-you or lead you to it. But if not and Dell's posted drivers are jacked-up, then I suppose you should go this route:

@Tesla1856,

After reinstalling, It’s already the latest version, but it still doesn’t work.

I didn't know you had dual video cards ... Possibly an issue there.

Have you checked the BIOS for relevant options?

Have you tried pressing the Function Key Sequence that lets you cycle through Internal and External monitors?

I don't think there is a problem with the LG monitor showing like that. As long as it's not in error, you are good there.

@Tesla1856 , the BIOS does not show anything related to dual-card options. I already tried many ways from advises on the internet. As i remembered, the laptop worked well. However, it got the problem after a restart.

Does it help if you connect the external monitor after the laptop boots up?

And in general, what happens when you press the Function-Key (sequence) to switch between Internal and External Monitors (after logging into Windows)?

Hi @Tesla1856,
Yes, my laptop still works with the external monitor. When I press the function key to switch displays, the menu appears and shows the options (PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only). I tried switching to Extend, but nothing happened. The same issue occurs with the other options as well.
Thank you very much for your time and for replying to my questions so many times. I really appreciate your help.
