Getting Error 2000 :0142 on my Dell Inspiron 5548

My DELL Notebook's HDD stopped working due to an impact. It was working fine and slow booting (like always coz of HDD but I was ok ) and then got this impact after which the notebook got stuck and then turned off also the fan turned off .When I tried to boot it up again it got stuck on Dell Logo, tried diagnostics with F2 and it showed red X mark on HDD confirming that it has crashed. It's a 2015 model INSPIRON 5548 the error which I am getting is 2000 :0142. This is 2nd time it got a shock impact but now I am stuck.

Can you please help as I am also looking for a motherboard replacement as well for 5548 with i5 processor and RAM to be upgraded to 16 GB.

Please Note : Dell 5548 I5/8GB/1TB/2GB/W8.1 this was my original configuration but due to 1st time shock, HDD Processor and RAM Got Changed / downgraded to WD 1.0 , i3 and 4 GB respectively.

Your hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced.  You'd be better off replacing it with a 2.5" SATA solid state drive than another hard drive.

Ok think I will do that ...Appreciated your support @ejn63 !

Also if you could please advice on this as well : my motherboard is having some issues along with 1 RAM slot which is also Not functioning, going with a new motherboard with i5 processor and with ddr4 or ddr5 + 2.5 '' SATA shouldn't be a problem ?

If you need to replace both a drive and the mainboard, consider a new system -- your current one is worth about $50-75 complete and working.  It's just not worth a major repair.
